Description

Temporary/Seasonal Staff needed for Expo season.  To meet these needs, we need temporary staff who: 

  • Have a friendly personality
  • Like working as a team or independently as needed
  • Commit to 4-hour or 8-hour shifts between 8:30am and 10:30pm
  • Enjoy making new friends
  • Both indoor and outdoor opportunities available

Pay is $13.50/hr. 

After working at least one 4-hour shift, as a token of our appreciation you are eligible to receive:

  • Choice of unlimited fountain drinks and water
  • A meal from a SGEC Café (Sandwich and a side)

Availability: you sign up for the job and shifts you are available to work. Those jobs include:

  • Parking Lot Attendants: help expo attendees find parking, shifts occur between 7am - 4pm
  • Café Helpers: restock drink coolers & ice bins, and pre-wrapped food, shifts occur between 8:30 am and 10:30pm
  • Custodial Helpers: wipe down tables, sweep up crumbs or spills, Windex glass doors. Shifts occur between 9am - 10:30pm

Qualifications

Temp staff should be prepared to work on their feet up to 6 hours  Please dress for the weather; Most jobs are inside, except parking attendant, which is outside. 

  • Clean shirt, NO LOGOS, T-Shirt will be provided while supply lasts
  • Comfortable, closed-toed shoes are REQUIRED
  • Dark pants or jeans preferred, in good condition (no fray or holes)  
  • Hat and/or sunglasses, sunscreen, if working outside. NO LOGOS
  • Winter coat and attire if working parking outside
  • If you have special dietary needs, please provide your own.
