Position Overview:
The Maternal & Child Health Nurse Manager will oversee and guide the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs aimed at improving maternal and child health outcomes. This role requires an individual with strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage a multidisciplinary team. The Director will collaborate with healthcare providers, community organizations, and government agencies to enhance services for mothers, infants, and children. The Director will be oversee both the clinic and the inpatient unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of maternal and child health programs, ensuring high-quality care and services for mothers, infants, and children.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate evidence-based programs and initiatives aimed at improving maternal and child health outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, healthcare providers, community organizations, and public health agencies to deliver comprehensive maternal and child health services.
  • Advocate for policies and practices that improve access to healthcare services for vulnerable populations, including underserved communities.
  • Oversee the administration of program budgets, including grant writing, fundraising, and financial reporting.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to a multidisciplinary team, ensuring continuous professional development and high standards of care.
  • Monitor and analyze maternal and child health data to assess program effectiveness, identify trends, and inform future initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as accreditation and funding requirements.
  • Foster community partnerships to expand outreach, awareness, and access to maternal and child health resources.
  • Stay current with the latest research, best practices, and policies in maternal and child health to drive program innovation and improvement.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Public Health, Maternal and Child Health, Nursing, or a related field.
  • Five years of experience in maternal and child healthcare management role.
  • Proven experience in program development, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and management skills.
  • Knowledge of maternal and child health issues, policies, and regulations.
  • Experience with grant writing, budgeting, and fundraising for health programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
