We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented interns for our 2025 Summer Internship Program in Environmental and Geotechnical Engineering! This hands-on role will provide invaluable experience in field testing, quality assurance, and client interaction within the environmental and geotechnical sectors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform testing of materials such as concrete, soils, masonry, asphalt, steel reinforcement, wood, fireproofing, and structural steel.
• Collect and analyze field samples to assess material properties and project specifications.
• Observe and document site conditions and construction activities.
• Read and interpret site plans and blueprints.
• Conduct quality assurance tests and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Prepare and submit accurate daily reports detailing field observations, test results, and project progress.
• Interact with clients, contractors, and design professionals to ensure project specifications are met.
• Safely transport yourself to and from job sites.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to carry, lift, or push materials weighing between 50-70 lbs multiple times a day.
• Adherence to all safety protocols, rules, and practices while on-site.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Environmental Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to handle multiple tasks.
