Castle Hill Inn is looking for a Recreation Staff to join the team.
Nestled on 40 acres overlooking the southwestern corner of Narragansett Bay, Castle Hill Inn – a Relais & Chateaux hotel – is a coastal haven where guests come to relax and rejuvenate against a spectacular New England backdrop, a location that is second to none. The property features guest rooms that are perched on the sand dunes of our private beach, a banquet facility, and two restaurants featuring the talents of the culinary team. About the Position: In the Recreation Staff role, you will coordinate activities of recreation services. Lead guest activities, and will greet and direct guests cordially.
About You: You have a passion for hospitality and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
Essential Duties:
- Formulate new and innovative activities for guests of Castle Hill
- Schedule maintenance of items used by Recreation Department- Bikes, Fishing Poles, etc.
- Assist with maintenance of trails on Castle Hill Property
- Lead guest activities- Nightly Fireside Gathering, Guided Hikes
- Maintain Castle Hill Beach in season as well as off season
- Ensure par inventory of items utilized by the Recreation Department
- Participate in the arrival process of guests to the Castle Hill property in conjunction with the Valet and Bell Services areas
