Castle Hill Inn is looking for a Valet Supervisor to join the team.
Nestled on 40 acres overlooking the southwestern corner of Narragansett Bay, Castle Hill Inn – a Relais & Chateaux hotel – is a coastal haven where guests come to relax and rejuvenate against a spectacular New England backdrop, a location that is second to none. The property features guest rooms that are perched on the sand dunes of our private beach, a banquet facility, and two restaurants featuring the talents of the culinary team. About the Position The Valet Supervisor is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the valet staff to meet the needs of the Inn as a whole. Must be able to drive stick shift.
About You: You have a strong hospitality and service background whom pleasing and impressing guests comes naturally.
Essential Duties:
- Responsible for all general day to day valet duties and responsibilities.
- Supervision and scheduling of Valet Staff
- Enforcing all standards (Forbes, Castle Hill, Relais & Chateaux) with the Valet Staff.
- Ensuring uniform compliance throughout the Valet staff
- Training and development of new Valets.
- Maintaining the appearance of the Front entrance including the front drive and parking area.
- Ensuring par inventory of items utilized by the Valet Department; radios, earpieces, uniforms, car tags, cones, etc.
- Ensuring the daily corporate paper work is delivered on time and bank visit is complete and accurate.
- Scheduling maintenance of the house vehicles
- Ensuring the house vehicles are presentable at all times
