Creative Services and Production Manager

THE ROLE

Gotham Greens is creating new ways to farm, produce local food, revitalize communities and innovate for a sustainable future. Gotham Greens is seeking a Creative Services & Production Manager to help Gotham Greens grow as a modern, sustainable fresh food brand. In this role, you will help develop and articulate Gotham Greens’ visual brand across a variety of print and digital mediums. You will join a team that is responsible for how the Gotham Greens brand is brought to life. This role is responsible for design, project management, and creative services to support Gotham Greens’ brand channels, including packaging, shopper marketing, communications, physical environments (e.g., trade shows, field marketing, and greenhouse signage), digital content, and more. The ideal candidate is a creative, detail-oriented, and process-driven designer who loves consistency, understands the importance of knowing your audience, and enjoys having a hand in the entire design process from creative brief to implementation. This role reports to the Director of Marketing.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

DESIGN

• Complete end-to-end design projects, from concept and competitive research to presentations and design implementation, across packaging, multi-platform creative campaigns, partnership & product launch assets, event deliverables, digital marketing assets, swag, and more.
• Coordinate production process and implementation (installation, distribution) of approved work.
• Apply Gotham Greens’ visual brand language to marketing collateral across all digital and print channels and ensure that projects and internal company documents adhere to the Gotham Greens style guide.
• Design new templates for internal documentation, including brand presentations, internal presentations, greenhouse signage, SOPs, and other employee resources.
• Design and distribute shopper marketing assets for Gotham Greens retail partners, including in-store signage, digital assets for trade programs, and IRCs.
• Ensure all packaging materials are consistent, up-to-date, and within brand guidelines when working with third-party vendors.
• Brief and collaborate with freelance creatives alongside the Director of Marketing.
• Assist with other cross-functional design needs, including creating decks for speaking engagements and sales meetings and working with the HR team on branded employee resources and swag. 

MARKETING AND DESIGN OPERATIONS

• Miscellaneous marketing operations tasks as needed, including product sampling opportunities, coordinating product gifting and mailers, and representing Gotham Greens at events.
• Vendor account management (packaging, sign fabricators, printers, photographers, and freelancers).
• Project management of design requests using Asana.
• Coordinate the distribution of design collateral to various department teams. 

WHO YOU ARE

• At least 3 years of design experience either in-house or at an ad agency with a related Bachelor’s degree
• Expert knowledge in standard design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign) and Microsoft PowerPoint
• Creative and up to date on the latest design and cultural trends
• Strong designer with a clear grasp of layout, typography, and hierarchy
• Flexibility and an interest in creative collaboration between cross-functional internal teams
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of photo retouching, motion design, and video editing is a plus
• Generates content quickly and perfectly, while sticking to deadlines
• Self-starter with strong multi-tasking capabilities and a positive can-do approach to problem-solving
• A team player with a “no job is too small” mentality
