Education: Bachelor's degree in human services field.
License/certifications: None
Experience: Some experience working with court services preferred, and criminal justice. Bilingual preferred
Job Specific Competencies:
- Effective organizational skills to handle the demands of CST programming.
- Ability to effectively communicate and follow verbal and written directions and complete job responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time and shift focus back and forth, as needed.
- Clinical case presentation ability and Diagnostic interviewing skills.
- Ability to provide clinical services to clients with a variety of psychiatric disorders
- Maintain professional judgement and performance regardless of personal issues.
- Knowledge of service area referral options
What are the other requirements?
- Clock in/out and ensure all hours are reflected accurately per agency policy.
- Request scheduled and unscheduled PTO utilizing per agency policy. All PTO requests must also be sent directly to the Manager via email for approval. Follow program and agency procedures for notifying management when unable to attend a scheduled shift/ training.
- Be able to enter data into the computer and type reports.
- Seek out inter agency trainings and outside entities to increase professional knowledge and enhance clinical skills
- Maintain a positive professional working relationship with staff within AID and at community agencies such as local service providers, hospitals, police departments, and landlords etc.
- Participate in quality review team meetings as required
- Participate in agency committees as assigned
- Participate in the planning and implementation of client activities.
- Maintain professionalism, professional judgment and good boundaries when working with clients, coworkers, and outside agencies regardless of personal issues.
- Communicates with service delivery partners, including Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Counselors, Pharmacists, Employers, Community Supports, other Health Professionals, and landlords, as needed, to facilitate the achievement of the client’s wellness objectives and to coordinate care and secure housing.
- Promotes client wellness through coaching, counseling, consultation, motivational enhancement, and information and referral services to clients as needed.
Perform all other related duties, as assigned, in accordance with AID policies and philosophies.
