What will you bring to the table?
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in a human services field is required. Master’s degree in human services preferred.
License/certifications:Â License preferred
Experience:Â Some experience working in social services required.
Skills:Â Fluent verbal and written Spanish and English preferred
Job Specific Competencies:
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective counseling skills.
- Diagnostic interviewing skills.
- Working knowledge of the Mental Health Recovery Model.
- Clinical case presentation ability.
- Effective organizational skills.
- Ability to provide clinical services to clients with a variety of psychiatric disorders.
- Knowledge of service area referral options.
- Ability to follow verbal and written directions and complete job responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks.
- Basic computer skills, and the ability and willingness to utilize computerized programs including Microsoft Office and Cx360.
What are the other requirements?
- Transport clients in personal vehicle when applicable.
- Participate in program team meetings and community meetings as assigned.
- Obtain input from consumers and other stakeholders on how to improve service provision.
- Provide outcome evaluation data to supervisor.
- Maintain a positive professional relationship with agencies and other stakeholders.
- Maintain a positive and professional relationship with co-workers and other agency staff.
- Participate in agency committees as assigned.
- Promote and maintain client rights and assure client choice.
- Promote awareness and respect for the diversity of our clients, employees, families and other stakeholders.
- Participate in outreach events (i.e. resource fairs/events) to promote program services and expand network.
- Communicate with service delivery partners and other professionals, as needed, to facilitate the achievement of client’s wellness objectives.
