Education: Bachelor's degree in human services field required. Knowledge of the DSM V or most current edition & Rule 132. Bilingual- Spanish preferred Â
License/certifications: None RequiredÂ
Experience: At least 1 year of experience in behavioral health preferredÂ
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective counseling skills.
- Diagnostic interviewing skills.
- Working knowledge of the Mental Health Recovery Model.
- Â Clinical case presentation ability.
- Effective organizational skills to handle demands of MCR-T Services.
- Abide by AID’s Code of Ethics, policies and procedures.
- Ability to provide clinical services to clients with a variety of psychiatric disorders and behavioral needs.
- Maintain a clean work area. Be respectful of other’s work areas.
-  Abide by AID’s professional dress code, including footwear.
- Knowledge of service area referral options.
- Â Ability to follow verbal and written directions and complete job responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and shift focus back and forth, as needed.
- Basic computer skills, and the ability and willingness to utilize computerized programs including Microsoft Office, Cx360, and crisis line database.

What are the other requirements?
Â
- Manage schedule in a manner that allows timely completion of all duties and be available to program after hours.
- Be on time for scheduled shifts and training sessions, clock in and out per agency policy.
- Maintain agency payroll system to ensure all hours are reflected accurately at all times, add punch requests as necessary.
- Request scheduled and unscheduled PTO utilizing the agency payroll system, per agency policy. All PTO requests must also be sent directly to the Manager via email for approval.
- Follow program and agency procedures for notifying management when unable to attend a scheduled shift/ training
- Ensure the coordination of services in the community to meet client needs (financial, legal, advocacy, medical, etc.)
- Provide transportation to clients in personal or agency vehicles when necessary.
- Acquire and maintain certifications in First Aid, Adult CPR, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (CPI), OIG Rule 50, Infection Control and Aetna Compliance and Fraud trainings as well as any other trainings assigned by Manager.
- Attend and participate in agency and program committees, events and fundraisers as assigned.
- Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with coworkers, agencies and other stakeholders.
- Perform all other job duties as assigned and in accordance with the Association policies and procedures.
- Promotes client wellness through coaching, counseling, consultation, motivational enhancement, and information and referral services to clients, as needed.Â
- Communicates with service delivery partners, which may include Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Counselors, Pharmacists, Employers, Community Supports, and other Health Professionals, as needed, to facilitate the achievement of client’s wellness objectives.
- Promote awareness and respect for the diversity of our clients, employees, families and other stakeholders.
- Maintain a team approach.
- Seek out both inter agency trainings and outside entities to increase professional knowledge and enhance clinical skills
- Provide consultation to AID staff to assist in managing crisis situations for agency clients.
- Manage personal wellbeing to ensure adequate performance and professional judgment at work.
