Description

The IT Systems Administrator will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, updates and reliable operation of on-premises and remote computer systems, network servers, backup systems, phone systems and peripheral devices across the various NFM systems. This role will also collaborate with the IT Team Lead and IT Support Staff to troubleshoot software errors and provide recommendations for upgrades to IT infrastructure.

This position will require onsite work in Linthicum at least 3-4 days per week

Essential Job Functions:  

Specific tasks will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Manage regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
  • Maintain the maintenance, configuration, updates and reliable operation of on-premises and remote computer systems, network servers, backup systems, phone systems and peripheral devices.
  • Assist IT Team Lead in providing documentation and technical specifications to IT Support staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure
  • Support IT Team Lead with helpdesk support, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner
  • Maintain NFM’s phone system and fax service management including phone and fax number assignment, training for new users, and technical support
  • Assist IT Support Staff in the onboarding process with creating user accounts for new employees
  • Support IT team with setting up security policies for users and identity management.
  • Participate in organization IT policy planning and implementation.
  • Assist IT Support Staff in troubleshooting of hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues
  • Support with monitoring, identifying and remediation of computer systems and IT Infrastructure for any malicious activities.
  • Assist IT Security team with setting up security policies for users and identity management
  • The IT Systems Administrator is expected to maintain satisfactory attendance and report to work on time every day.

The range provided reflects the expected compensation for this role and is considered a general guideline. Actual compensation will be decided based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience assessed during the interview process, and internal pay equity. Compensation may also include incentives such as per-file bonuses and discretionary bonuses as applicable to the role.
