Position Summary:  

The Information Technology (IT) Manager will assist in managing and supporting the company's technological needs within the mortgage industry. This role is responsible for maintaining day-to-day IT operations, providing internal technical support, and helping ensure that systems and infrastructure remain secure, reliable, and compliant with industry standards. The IT Manager will collaborate with leadership to implement and support technology solutions that enhance efficiency across departments, including origination, processing, underwriting, and compliance. This role also involves contributing to system improvements, learning to lead IT staff, and supporting the integration of new or upgraded platforms that align with evolving business needs.

 

Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field required, master’s degree    
  • preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant IT experience, including at least three (3) years in a
  • supervisory or leadership role.
  • Proven success in implementing enterprise and cloud infrastructure solutions, particularly with
  • AWS and Azure.
  • Strong experience with information security tools and practices.
  • Solid understanding of full-stack software development and web application technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage cross-functional IT teams, including support and
  • development personnel.
  • Proficiency in IP-based and mobile telephony systems.
  • Experience in IT vendor management and procurement of technology solutions and services.

Essential Job Functions include, but are not limited to

  • Establish and maintain standard operating procedures for configurations, hardware/softwareupgrades, employee onboarding and off boarding and desktop/network support.
  • Evaluate current IT operations and recommend improvements to meet future business needs.
  • Manage and monitor network security systems, including LAN/WAN, telecommunications, and voice technologies.
  • Identify issues or weaknesses in existing IT systems and propose effective solutions.
  • Research and evaluate new technologies to determine potential benefits and alignment with business objectives.
  • Hire, train, and manage IT operations and support staff, fostering continuous professional development.
  • Maintain and oversee relationships with internal and external infrastructure providers to ensure reliability and performance of server environments.
  • Participate in the selection, acquisition, and implementation of third-party software and IT solutions.
  • Maintain and enforce IT policies and procedures, including those related to Information Security and Business Continuity.
  • Develop and manage the IT department budget and equipment inventory and ensuring cost-effective use of technology investments, maximizing reuse of existing equipment whenever possible
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for IT and telecommunications procedures including setting up and terminating networks in remote locations/branches
  • Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve technical issues promptly and effectively.
  • Provide hands-on support by installing, configuring, and repairing desktop PCs as needed.
  • Design and implement training programs for IT support staff to enhance technical capabilities.
  • Oversee daily departmental operations by analyzing workflows, setting priorities, developing standards, and establishing deadlines.
  • Assign tasks and review the work of systems analysts, helpdesk technicians, and programmers to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Availability for occasional overtime and travel as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
