What you’ll be doing:

This position provides support to our customers on Synergy Cooperative products and services. The Sales Agronomist is expected to promote Synergy agronomy products and services through calling on regular or prospective customers to solicit orders. This role maintains and develops relationships while becoming the market leader within the define customer base.

We’re looking for:

• Related agricultural experience
• Related sales experience
• Ability to establish strong relationships with customers/clients
• Knowledge of chemicals, insecticides, fertilizers, and seed
• A driving record that is acceptable for commercial liability insurance
• Valid CDL or willingness to obtain
• Ability to work outdoors in all conditions with extended work hours in peak season
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required  

Extra awesome if you have:

• Agricultural background with related experience operating agricultural equipment

• Associate degree or technical certificate in agriculture related field of study desired
• Tanker Endorsement
• Hazmat Endorsement
• 3-5 years of field sales experience desired

• Crop advisor certification
