The Lead Host/Maitre D is in charge of warmly greeting and bidding farewell to all guests from the host stand, controlling a wait list and maximizing seating of guests in the restaurant, patio and rooftop.  The Lead Host is in control of the host team and delegates overall host responsibilities to the team.  The host team also assists with placing carry out and delivery orders. They are the first and last point of contact for the guest experience in the restaurant and are responsible for creating an inviting and comfortable environment for our guests.

Host Specific:
Â
- Warmly Greet guests
- Organize a wait list
- Maintain timely seating of reservations, while acknowledging and fulfilling guest requests whenever possible
- Seat guests
- Manage reservation specific communication to servers and managers to meet and exceed guest expectations
- Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the host stand including counters,
menus, computer, shelves and storage areas
Other Functions:

- Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the
restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.
- Complying with health and food safety standards, restocking items, cleaning,
- Operating the cash register, answering the phone, providing great customer service, and following Fifty/50 Restaurant Group policies & procedures.

Physical Functions:

- Ability to stand/walk a minimum of 8 hours or as needed.
- Must be able to exert well-paced and frequent mobility for periods of up to 8 hours or as needed.
- Be able to lift up to 20 pounds frequently.
- Be able to climb and descend stairs frequently.
- Will frequently reach, feel, bend, stoop, carry, finely manipulate and key in data.
- Work in both warm and cool environments
- High levels of noise from music, customer and employee traffic.
- Must be able to tolerate potential allergens:Â peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy,
seafood and shellfish.

Qualifications, Education and Behavior:
Â
- 2 years experience
- Ability to work quickly while maintaining safety standards and procedures.
- Active social media presence
- Ability to work Holidays and weekends.
- Ability to work a consistent schedule at least 4 days per week.
