Job Description:

This role is responsible for accurately applying agricultural chemicals and fertilizers by safely operating and maintaining agriculture equipment, including but not limited to sprayers, spreaders, and trucks. You can expect to mix, load, and apply pesticides/fertilizers, provide superior customer service, and maintain customer rapport while working efficiently and having fun! This position also performs an exciting variety of tasks on non-application days, which may include such things as warehouse maintenance and/or location grounds and equipment maintenance and/or assisting other departments as needed.

 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Commercial Chemical Applicators License preferred
  • Safe driving records
  • Agriculture background with related experience operating agriculture equipment
  • Ability to work outdoors in all conditions with extended work hours in peak season

 

Extra awesome if you have:

  • CDL 
  • Commercial Chemical Applicators License

 

Basic requirements for entering the CDL training program:

  • At least 21 years old for positions requiring interstate travel and/or accepting a position that requires the hazardous materials endorsement
  • At least 18 years old for positions requiring intrastate only
  • Have held a valid driver's license for at least two years
  • Be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.
  • Have a good driving record and are insurable
