Description

CHP is invested in the longevity of providing affordable and sustainable housing to all. Combine your classroom learnings with hands-on experience. CHP is offering college students majoring in property management and real estate development the opportunity to learn valuable skills, network with professionals, explore the world of affordable housing as well as gain a deeper understanding of working for a large not-for-profit organization. You'll work both remotely and occasionally on-site at CHP properties, with flexible hours that fit your course schedule. Additionally, you’ll have weekly check-ins with your internship supervisor. Requirements

  • Active student in the Property Management or equivalent program at an accredited 4-year college/university

  • Completed coursework in affordable housing and property/asset management is required.

  • Desire to develop strong office and collaboration skills.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Familiarity with Excel spreadsheets, electronic file systems, and general computer and search skills, a plus.

  • Must possess an appropriate remote work environment to include a work area free of tripping hazards; adequate lighting, and appropriate work surface to include desk or table and chair. Must have access to reliable broadband internet.

Hours: This 40-hour-per-week internship runs through the Summer 2025 semester, from May to August.
