We’re seeking to hire four (4) maintenance technicians in the NRV (Blacksburg, Christiansburg, and Pulaski). Must possess/maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record consistent with current CHP insurability guidelines and must provide their own reliable transportation to/from work.
The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for performing interior and exterior maintenance and other duties that assure residents a safe, comfortable, and attractive residence. Based on experience, starting salaries begin at $18.
The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for ensuring physical aspects of the assigned property(ies) meet CHP quality standards and applicable laws to include: maintenance, upkeep, and repair of the electrical and mechanical systems, appliances, buildings, and grounds. This position represents the minimal requirements for properties with only one maintenance staff; however, this person may also work on a 2-person maintenance team. Based on experience, starting salaries begin at $20 per hour.
