Accounting Intern

Westfalia Technologies, Inc. is looking for an Accounting Intern to join our accounting team for a summer internship. The Accounting Intern will assist the accounting team with day-to-day financial tasks, including data entry, reconciliations, and reporting. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills and gain insight into the accounting profession.

 Job Functions:

• Assist with accounts payable processing
• Prepare and enter journal entries into accounting software
• Support month-end closing processes
• Conduct research on financial data and generate reports
• Assist in auditing processes and compliance checks
• Perform administrative duties as needed to support the finance team

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Education/Experience:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
