Our team is currently seeking a Field Service Technician to join our Field Service Department. This position is responsible for performing field service and installation work on all equipment built or supplied by Westfalia Technologies, Inc.
Job Functions:
- Support parts and service sales for S/RMs, conveyors, palletizers, and robots.
- Process and follow up on parts orders for S/RMs, conveyors, palletizers, and robots.
- Provide preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair support to customers—25% in-house and 75% on-site.
- Deliver world-class customer service to all clients.
- Interface with customers daily, including providing daily reports and ensuring follow-up actions are completed.
- Facilitate communication between customers and internal teams, including Sales, Engineering, and other associates.
- Submit all required paperwork promptly and professionally.
- Maintain strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Foster teamwork within the Service Department.
- Perform tasks in the production shop when service work is not available.
