Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to work with a medium degree of technical supervision.
- A medium degree of creativity and latitude is expected in solving engineering-related issues and overall design, within company requirements
- Ability to manage priorities
- Good communication skills – need to effectively communicate with Sales, Applications Engineering, English-speaking German engineers, project managers, rack suppliers, customer’s general contractors, installation supervisors and Field Service technicians.
- Ability to work as a member of a team that may have a broad range of skill sets: installers, other engineers, managers, etc.
- Willingness to learn and grow in the position to understand the design philosophy of an ASRS system, conveyors and other material handling equipment
- Must be knowledgeable in MS Office applications
- Must have technical and analytical proficiency
- Other duties as assigned by team lead or department manager
- Minimal travel may be necessary (less than 5% over one year)
- Some experience in AutoCAD
- Experience with ASRS components and integration
Education/Experience:
- BS Mechanical Engineering degree
Machines/Tools/Equipment:
All computer and networking-related equipment are provided to employees for use in performing their necessary tasks. Candidate must have own hand tools. Company provided PPE for freezer work and fall protection.
