POSITION SUMMARY
The Collections Specialist will oversee daily operations and support the ASO Billing and ASO Funding Team. This role combines leadership, customer service and financial expertise to ensure effective collection of outstanding accounts while maintaining strong client relationships and compliance with all applicable regulations. Weekly reporting, cash application and coordination of payment are required to be managed simultaneously in this role to be successful.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Prepare and maintain weekly outstanding receivable reporting.
- Develop enhanced dashboard management reports to ensure proper level communication with Executive Leadership.
- Consistently maintain collection status by client.
- Analyze delinquency trends and suggest improvements to processes, strategies, and relationships.
- Prepare and present performance reporting to management.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve outstanding issues.
- Communicate both internally and externally on outstanding payment status and work towards timely resolution.
- Partner with Client Executive and Account Management teams to resolve outstanding payments.
- Help maintain a positive and customer focused work environment.
- Ensure adherence to collection policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance.
- Auditing of ASO Finance transactions and client support
- Work on special projects, duties or tasks as assigned.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in collections and customer service required.
- Strong knowledge of collections practices and applicable language required.
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
