The Housekeeping Supervisor leads the shift to ensure pristine guestrooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. You’ll assign boards, inspect rooms, coach attendants, manage supplies, and drive safety and quality standards that elevate the guest experience.
Key Responsibilities

Shift Leadership: Open/close department; assign room boards/areas; adjust staffing to occupancy and priorities (VIPs, early arrivals, stays/turns).

Inspections & Quality: Inspect rooms and public areas to SOP/brand standards; document deficiencies; coach for corrections and prevent repeat issues.

Training & Coaching: Onboard new associates; conduct huddles and skill refreshers (bathroom detail, bed standards, time management, chemical safety).

Productivity & Labor: Track daily credits and re-clean rates; manage breaks and redeploy staff to meet turn times and reduce OOO/OOI rooms.

Guest Service & Recovery: Respond to guest requests and service recovery with urgency and professionalism; coordinate with Front Office on room status.

Maintenance Coordination: Create/follow up on work orders in CMMS (e.g., HotSOS/Quore); verify repairs and return rooms to service quickly.

Inventory & Linen Control: Maintain pars of linens, amenities, and chemicals; organize closets and carts; support monthly counts and rag-out procedures.

Safety & Compliance: Enforce OSHA, PPE, and SDS/chemical handling; uphold key control, privacy/DND, and Lost & Found policies; keep logs current.

Public Areas/Laundry Support: Assist with lobby/restroom checks and laundry staging as needed; support deep cleans and quarterly projects.

Reporting: Complete inspection forms, productivity logs, incident reports, and shift handoffs accurately and on time.
