Job Summary:
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will be responsible for prospecting and generating new business opportunities through outbound phone calls, emails, and other outreach channels. The primary objective will be to qualify leads and set up meetings with potential clients for the sales team. This role is essential to the success of the sales process and will require a combination of excellent communication skills, perseverance, and a goal-oriented mindset.
Job Goals:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and develop strategic plans to target new market segments.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of sales and marketing efforts.
Job Responsibilities:
Prospecting & Lead Generation
- Conduct outbound calls and send personalized email campaigns to target potential leads and prospects.
- Research and identify key decision-makers within target accounts using CRM tools, LinkedIn, and other research methods.
- Qualify leads based on their needs, budget, and fit with our solutions.
Setting Up Meetings
- Engage with prospects to understand their pain points and goals.
- Schedule product demos or introductory meetings for the sales team.
- Maintain and manage a high volume of outbound outreach activities, ensuring consistent follow-up.
CRM Management
- Track all interactions and update prospect information in the CRM.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date data is recorded on all prospects, leads, and opportunities.
- Monitor and manage daily, weekly, and monthly outreach goals and quotas.
Collaboration & Feedback
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment on target audiences, messaging, and outreach strategies.
- Provide feedback to the team on prospecting effectiveness, challenges, and market trends.
Continuous Learning & Improvement
- Stay updated on product knowledge, industry trends, and best practices for outbound prospecting.
- Participate in training sessions, sales meetings, and performance reviews to refine sales skills.
