The Housekeeping Lead works directly with Guest Room Attendants to ensure the timely completion of daily housekeeping tasks according to Three Rivers Casino Resort’s high standard of quality and cleanliness.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs all duties of the Guest Room as needed.
- Assists the Housekeeping Supervisor in administrative tasks, Team Member training and support.
- Provides and receives first level communications to and from Housekeeping Team Members in order to ensure information is sufficient to complete their daily tasks.
- Reports any theft or damage of property, or other violations of hotel policy to Security.
- Reports all guest room maintenance and inventory deficiencies to Hotel Management.
- Ensures all unclaimed items found in guest rooms are bagged, tagged and turned over to the Hotel Front Desk for Lost & Found.
- Inspects guest rooms, halls, lobbies and elevators to make sure they are up to our standard of cleanliness.
- Works alongside the Team observing guest interactions, resolving guest concerns and conducting room quality checks in order to meet timelines necessary for check in schedule.
- Documents and reports to Management any Team Member performance concerns, assisting with training in areas of deficiency.
- Works with the Front Desk staff on any guest service requests such as early check ins, lake check outs or in house moves.
- Other duties as directed by management.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, Team Members may be exposed to secondhand tobacco smoke, including regular exposure for those working on the casino floor. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and can occasionally reach a high level for short periods of time. Regularly exposed to dust and fumes from cleaning chemicals while moving between hot and cold environments. This position is determined to have a potential for possible exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
