The Guest Room Attendant is responsible for the timely completion of daily housekeeping tasks according to Three Rivers Casino Resort’s high standard of quality and cleanliness.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conducts overall cleaning of guestrooms as assigned including, but not limited to: dusting, vacuuming, mopping, wiping surfaces, mirrors, windows and glass doors (including tracks).
- Removes and replaces all dirty towels and bedding, making beds according to hotel standards.
- Cleans and disinfects bathrooms including showers, sinks, toilets and floors.
- Empties trash from trash cans, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee station, thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting.
- Vacuums carpet in hallways, lobbies and elevators.
- Sanitizes phone, door knobs, and light switches.
- Replenishes all supplies in guest rooms.
- Follows job tasks issued by Housekeeping Team Lead.
- Responds to and notifies Housekeeping Team Lead of all guest requests or complaints.
- Reports all guest room maintenance and inventory deficiencies to Team Lead.
- Addresses guests with a positive upbeat attitude, providing the highest level of guest service according to TRCR’s service commitments.
- Maintains housekeeping rooms in a clean and orderly fashion.
- Other duties as directed by management.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, Team Members may be exposed to secondhand tobacco smoke, including regular exposure for those working on the casino floor. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and can occasionally reach a high level for short periods of time. Regularly exposed to dust and fumes from cleaning chemicals while moving between hot and cold environments. This position is determined to have a potential for possible exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
