The Halpern Law Firm, LLC, based in Bryn Mawr, PA and Pittsburgh, PA, specializes in representing Mesothelioma victims in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. For over 30 years, the firm, led by David Halpern, has been actively fighting for the rights of victims of asbestos exposure. With a track record of investigating, litigating, and settling numerous mesothelioma and asbestos lung cancer cases, the firm is dedicated to seeking justice for those affected.

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our fast-paced growing firm! The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 2–3 years of recruiting experience and a strong understanding of law firm operations or professional services environments. This role is critical to support our Human Resources team.

Duties:

• Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for attorney, paralegal, and administrative roles across all practice areas and departments.
• Partner with department heads and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective sourcing strategies.
• Source candidates through internal and external recruiting sites (LinkedIn, Indeed, Paycom, etc.)
• Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate candidate interviews with hiring teams.
• Maintain and update applicant tracking systems and recruiting reports.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 2–3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a corporate, agency, or in-house setting.
• Prior experience working in a law firm, legal staffing agency, or professional services firm is required.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional and approachable demeanor.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously
• High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive candidate and firm information

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience specifically recruiting for law firm roles (attorneys, legal support staff, etc.) is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with legal hiring timelines, lateral attorney recruitment, and law school recruiting cycles.

Comp Package: Starting salary of $45,000 based on skills and experience, Bonus, Profit Sharing, Full Benefits, 401K
