Minimum Qualifications:
Construction Inspector Level I
- A minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience constructing all aspects of transmission level substations and transmission lines.
- Must be proficient at reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and standards associated with electrical construction projects.
- Must be fluent in the English language.
- Proficient at the Microsoft Office suite.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Familiar with OSHA, NEC, NESC, and ANSI standards.
Additional Qualifications:
Construction Inspector Level II
- A minimum of 5 years relevant experience constructing all aspects of transmission level substations and transmission lines.
- Must be proficient at reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and standards associated with electrical construction projects.
- Must be proficient in reading and interpreting electrical design prints, understand how to review Red Line prints, and the understanding of circuitry.
- Must have thorough understanding of touch and step potential.
Construction Inspector Level III
- A minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience constructing all aspects of transmission level substations and transmission lines.
- Must be proficient at reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and standards associated with electrical construction projects.
- Must have thorough understanding of electrical theory, power delivery, and troubleshooting abilities.
All Levels Must also have the following demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Comply with all safety rules and regulations.
- Must be able to manage multiple priorities, make sound decisions, and handle pressure.
- The successful individual will be a mature self-starter, service-oriented, and be professional in conduct, attitude and appearance.
