Description

We are currently seeking a full-time Program Director for our Residential Program site located in Saugus, MA. The Program Director is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Residential Program, including implementing Agency policy and practice and ensuring compliance with the statutory requirements of the Department of Developmental Services (DDS). The Program Director is responsible for overall supervision of staff, ensuring that the home environment is maintained to the highest standard. This person will protect the rights, freedoms and confidentiality and supervise the medical, nutritional health and general welfare of individuals living within the program. This position is responsible for on call coverage 24/7.

SHIFTS
40 hours per week, flexibility required. On call 24/7 for emergencies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implements policies, practices and procedures of the Residential Program.
  • Compiles all reports and documents required by the DDS pertaining to clients.
  • Overall supervision of the medical health, nutritional standards, educational and general welfare of all people supported.
  • Ensures that the residential program is maintained in a safe, sanitary, attractive and comfortable state.
  • Supervises program staff and delegates appropriate duties and responsibilities.
  • Protects and supports the integrity and privacy of the program.
  • Protects each individual's rights and freedom and maintains confidentiality of information relating to individuals in the residential program.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required with 3 years experience supporting individuals with Developmental Disabilities.
  • Must have valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • Must have acceptable CORI report (criminal record assessment) and suitable fingerprint results.
  • Must be certified in First Aid, CPR and MAP; or be able to become certified within the first 90 days of employment (training provided).
