SierTeK Ltd. is seeking a Security Support Staff to support an opportunity at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. 

  • Provide expertise in anti-terrorism/force protection, operational planning and programming, and information protection.
  • Assist STO program staff with all aspects and disciplines of program security administration.
  • Interpret, enforce and apply broad experience across all security disciplines related to compartmented program security.
  • Assist program staff by receiving, reviewing, processing and filing Program Access Requests (PARs). Verify clearance information, maintain nomination process, accountability and hold files. Maintain databases and access to web based systems for personnel security verification.
  • Review and provide status check of unapproved PARs. Track and return incomplete PARs. Manage billet structure to account for program access. Reconcile access rosters and personnel security databases. Assist with the maintenance and updates to personnel security investigations and clearances.
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of Fixed Facility Checklists for secure areas.
  • Assist with the maintenance and testing of security alarms, cameras, and access control systems. Conduct ingress/egress security checks to prevent the entry or removal of prohibited items.
  • Maintain facility and security container locks and combinations. Transmit, receive and distribute classified and unclassified facsimile, mail and media.
  • Maintain metrics of requests for security support through program security log files. Assist with the preparation of contract security specifications, as well as identification and description of security product deliverables.
  • Maintain receipt/dispatch records of all classified information transmitted to/from STO’s secure facilities.
  • Participate in the development of security education programs. Prepare and conduct security awareness training and education briefings.
  • Destroy unneeded classified material using approved procedures.
  • Prepare communications and required forms to relay program security guidance to contractors. Review documentation and media for application of proper classification markings and guidance.
  • Prepare, transmit, and receive visit certification. Review and prepare documentation for technology transfers.
  • Provide security support for meetings and conferences by preparing entry authorization lists. Perform escort duties, draft and finalize security input, organize and present courier briefings, reserve secure space, and coordinate information system support.
  • Facilitate the production, protection, use and destruction of accountable materiel.
  • Assist with preparation, review, and revision of program security classification guides and classification tables.
  • Assist with internal and external conferences and meetings. Update forms, database, records and internal website links.
  • Identify, matrix, track, and apply safeguards and countermeasures to program critical indicators.
  • Identify vulnerabilities, assess risk, and incorporate the protection of indicators into operational, test, and transportation plans.
  • Work with base and cognizant security authorities to conduct risk assessments of facilities, to identify and implement countermeasures. Conduct random access measures to protect personnel and facilities.
  • Design and implement security procedures in coordination with Government agencies and STO management.
  • Analyze losses and security violations, recommend corrective actions.
  • Possess knowledge of security concepts, principles, and practices necessary to review, analyze, and resolve complex security issues.
  • Experience in planning, creating, implementing, and assessing security programs to meet DoD mission requirements and improve the overall security program.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent 10+ years of experience required in closely related skills.
  • Security Clearance: Top Secret/adjudicated Tier 5 Investigation required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
