Storeroom Clerk/Courier

Putnam County Hospital is seeking a Storeroom Clerk/Courier to join the Materials Management team! This is a FT benefits eligible position with preferred hours of 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required. 

Job Duties:

  • Stocks medical supplies on ICU and Med-Surg units
  • Fills department orders and deliver in timely manner
  • Assists with receiving shipments that are delivered
  • Tags and stores received items in storeroom
  • Cleans and organize storeroom as required
  • Performs Courier duties twice per day
  • Delivers supplies to other departments and outside clinics as needed
  • Delivers Rx items
  • Picks up and delivers mail and bank bags to appropriate person
  • Picks up and delivers any lab samples from clinics
  • Picks up dirty laundry
  • Checks O2 tanks
  • Replaces bio-containers
  • Performs inventory counts as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned
     

Qualifications

Education Experience:  HS Graduate or Equivalent
Driver's License Required:  Yes, clean driving record
Travel Requirements:    >25%
Age Requirement:   18+
