As a full-time employee of Contour Airlines:

  • You are eligible for health, vision, and dental coverage as well as short-term/long-term disability and voluntary life insurance policies. If selected, these are effective on the first day of the month following your date of hire. Our current benefit enrollment guide will be provided during the onboarding process if you are selected for employment.
  • You are eligible to participate in our 401(k) savings plan, which would also be effective the first day of the month following your date of hire. The Company match is up to 6%. Your eligibility to participate in this benefit will be in accordance with the normal practices and guidelines of the Company. Our current 401K enrollment guide will be provided during the onboarding process if you are selected for employment.
  • You are eligible to receive paid sick leave. You can accrue up to 56 hours per year which will roll over each year until your sick bank reaches 480 hours.
  • You are eligible to receive vested vacation hours. These hours are available to you on January 1st following your date of hire.
  • You are eligible for non-revenue/space available (NRSA) travel privileges after completing six active months of service.
  • You are eligible for a variety of leaves of absence including medical leave, non-medical leave for the care of a family member, maternity leave, paternity leave, personal leave, etc. Specific information regarding Contour Airlines’ leave of absence policy is outlined in our Employee Handbook which will be provided to you during the onboarding process should you be selected for employment.

 

Additional information:

  • The starting annual salary for this position is between $43,888.00 and $55,000.00 depending on your prior work experience. Based on your performance, you are eligible to receive an annual increase of up to 2.50% or more.

Summary of Essential Duties:

  • Forecast and coordinate the scheduling of both short- and long-term maintenance requirements on company aircraft.
  • Work with both Operations and Maintenance Control to organize the routing of aircraft to ensure the efficient compliance of maintenance requirements.
  • Work with Contour Maintenance group and outside vendors to schedule and organize maintenance events on company aircraft.
  • Oversee the execution of the maintenance plan as previously forecast.
  • Request and review proposals for maintenance events from outside vendors for both scheduled and unscheduled items on an as needed basis.
  • Develop a plan to resolve both mid and long-term deferrals in conjunction with Maintenance Control.
  • Monitor and provide updates to supervision on irregularities or conflicts affecting the forecasted maintenance schedule.
  • Consistently monitor current maintenance programs and look for opportunities for improvement to better efficiency and reduce aircraft downtime.
  • Perform additional functions (essential or otherwise) as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Be authorized to work in the United States and able to travel in and out of the United States.
  • Possess high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Must have a valid driver license and safe driving record.
  • Must be able to understand, read, and write the English language.
  • Possess polished and professional interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Possess strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Must have well-developed people skills and ability to work with a wide variety of personalities.
  • Able to coordinate multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Able to handle frequent interruptions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail.
  • Be self-motivated and able to motivate others
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal delivered with tact and professionalism.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex situations simultaneously.
  • Able to pass a required 10-year work history review and submit to criminal background and fingerprint checks.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules.
  • Must have experience and be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access.
  • Required proficient use of PDF processing.
  • Preferred high proficiency with PDF automation & processing, including use of Adobe Acrobat.
  • Preferred working knowledge of Quantum Component Control Maintenance software.
  • Preferred intermediate understanding and knowledge of FOS, Flightdocs, & CAMP software applications.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years commercial aviation heavy maintenance project management experience.
  • Experience in aviation project planning and customer support.
  • Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including OSHA, EPA, state, and federal regulations.
