This position is Full Time working a hybrid schedule in our Brentwood, TN corporate office.

 

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Learning and Development Manager will be responsible for managing a team responsible for creating and executing training programs that increase productivity and effectiveness of employees across the organization. This position assesses company-wide development and training needs to drive training initiatives and identifies and implements suitable training solutions. This position works with subject matter experts and training resources in the business to create, design and implement effective methods to educate and enhance performance.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage a team of Trainers and Learning and Development Specialists to ensure effective onboarding and ongoing training programs are executed across the company
  • Create and execute learning and development strategies in collaboration with the functional subject matter experts to ensure new hire training meets program goals
  • Assist with developing training programs including needs analysis, design approach, material development and training effectiveness assessment
  • Create processes to ensure training programs are developed and delivered utilizing effective learning methodology
  • Lead the design, development delivery and evaluation of innovative learning solutions that support new employee orientation and onboarding.  
  • Create programs to enhance peer training resources across the organization to utilize diverse learning approaches and maximize effectiveness of trainings
  • Create and manage key initiatives and leadership development programs that will build the internal talent pipeline and create a career path for internal team members to grow
  • Manage learning management system and annual training requirements to ensure compliance with state and federal laws

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • 5+ years of experience managing a learning and development team
  • Experience scaling training in a growing organization
  • Experience with instructional design and content creation
  • Experience developing training in a healthcare organization
  • Experience developing training for remote staff
  • Experience working across departments to create scalable training programs
