A Typical Day;
A typical day in the life of a Central Carolina HVAC Repair Technician includes:
- Performing quality preventative maintenance services on all HVAC systems, including oil systems, with limited call backs
- Properly diagnosing HVAC systems to include furnace, air conditioners, heat pumps, zone systems, and oil furnaces
- Performing advanced electrical troubleshooting
- Completing major refrigeration repairs including coils, compressors, thermal expansion valves, etc.
- Replacing reversing valves and heat exchangers
- Identifying air flow issues and offering solutions to customers
- Servicing and repairing ductless mini split systems
- Performing boiler maintenance and repairs (preferred)
- Diagnosing duct system issues and designing solutions (preferred)
- Diagnosing zone system issues and replacing zone components (preferred)
- Performing call duty as assigned
- Supporting company goals by offering customers additional Central Carolina products and services and setting leads for HVAC equipment replacement
- Professionally communicating with team members, customers, and vendors
- Completing paperwork for each service including service software documentation
