Role
The Cash Management Officer is responsible for developing and implementing Cash Management Products and Services. The Cash Management Officer provides management and oversight of the products, services and processes related to the Credit Unions Cash Management Business Products.
The Cash Management Officer is responsible for providing cash management marketing, product sales demonstrations, technical and financial analysis to members, prospects and business services relationship managers.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Create partnerships, and work closely with other departments through the Credit Union: • Deposit Operations clearing transactions, setting individual product limits for business members, holds, NACHA payroll and recurring ACH transactions. • Partnering with Digital Operations to create product offerings on the digital platform for Business Members. • Fraud analysis which includes suspicious transaction reviews. • Monitor and track Remote Deposit capture (RDC) inventory. Responsible for the acquisition of new relationships as well as act as a main contact for members with service related issues. • Participate in assisting and resolving client service issues from the Retail Centers, Call Center and direct Member inquiries.
• Analyze prospective member statements and provide cost/benefit analysis presentation. • Review new and current member accounts for correct product placement and limits. • Conduct risk reviews for business debit card limits. • Create process to ensure compliance of internal policies, procedures and regulations being complied with by Business members and Credit Union staff. • Prepare and manage member agreements. • Prepare, manage, and approve cash management member agreements. • Ensures all compliance related material is up to date. • Create and manage a process for approving individual business product limits and manage this list and for reviews and/or changes in the individual member limits. • Set individual member business risk product limits, grant or request approvals, and schedule/perform product limit reviews. • Monitor and track ACH originator transaction activity and conduct annual risk assessments.
Responsible for the development, execution, and management of online Business Deposit Products within the Credit Unions Core System (Symitar) and On-line platform (Q2).
Work with the SVP of Lending to create a business strategy for growing cash management services. • Develop and conduct Credit Union communication and training in regards to cash management services.
• Maintain current knowledge of competitors product offerings, pricing, trends within the field of cash management and future growth opportunities.
