Senior Brand Strategist

INNOCEAN USA, a full-service ad agency located in sunny Huntington Beach, CA, is seeking a Senior Brand Strategist to join our growing team!

 

We are a hybrid workplace, x2 days week onsite.  Candidates must be local to SoCal.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Senior Brand Strategist responsibilities include analyzing consumer insights and client data to craft marketing plans and compelling creative briefs.

 

To be successful in this role, you should have extensive experience with pulling insights from analytics, owning projects, and evolving a strategic POV. Ultimately, you will ensure our brand is consistent and compelling across all online and offline channels.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Shape consumer profiles from multiple data sources
  • Conduct competitive research to identify positioning opportunities
  • Assess the performance of our advertising campaigns and events
  • Brief our creative team on integrated projects
  • Gather insights from secondary research on resources like Mintel. Simmons, etc.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years experience as a Brand Strategist or similar role in Marketing/Advertising
  • Ad agency experience is a MUST
  • Automotive or Luxury goods experience is a plus.
  • Portfolio of brand-building projects is a plus
  • Mastery of tools to analyze data ie Microsoft Excel
  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills

The salary average for a Sr. Brand Strategist role is $120,000.  Pay is dependent upon several factors including but not limited to:  client, experience, training and/or transferable skills.
