Aquatech needs a full-time Office Administrator to work in our  Eldridge Pkwy, Houston, TX office. The hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. This person will perform the duties described in the job description below and will be considered a Non Exempt employee.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for office set up and design of new office space, (i.e. procurement of furniture, coordination of delivery and assembly, supplies).
  • Directs office activities and functions to maintain efficiency and compliance with company policies.
  • Responsible for welcoming Aquatech management, customers, and suppliers; coordinating/arranging conference rooms, coordinating working meals as needed (breakfast/lunch), turning over conference rooms in between meetings.
  • Assists clerical and support staff with their assigned duties, particularly when more advanced, skilled, or sensitive work is required.
  • Prepares agendas, makes travel arrangements, and maintains calendars.
  • Oversees front desk reception including telephone services, email correspondence, and mail distribution.
  • Maintains office supplies inventory.
  • Maintains records, including ISO documentation, and other files.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Liaison with HR for new hires and onboarding.
  • Participate in the corporate safety committee.
  • General office administration.
  • Liaison with IT, coordination of laptops and general office equipment.
  • Work with the Travel Coordinator as needed to arrange flights and accommodations.
  • Responsible for onsite engagement such as milestone awards or wellness initiatives.
  • Liaise with landlord for general maintenance and coordination of building renovations or issues.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Physical Requirements:

Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, limited walking and standing.

Qualifications/Experience

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate’s degree in office administration or a related field is preferred.
  • At least three years of administrative and clerical experience required.
  • Experience working for an engineering company. (Preferred, not required)
  • Expert in the use of Microsoft Office; particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with presentations and report writing.
