Switchboard Operator

• Operate a PBX Switchboard                                                                                                
• Be able to operate a Public Address System                                                                  
• Performs pages for staff and doctors through paging system                                                         
• Maintain appropriate log books                                
• Operate Census Computer 
• Prepare on call Schedules                                                                          
•  Monitor assigned alarms and notify appropriate person when necessary
• Activate appropriate response to all alarms 
• Code Phone and proper procedure
• Use of Communication Radios
• Notify Security Central Alarm 
• FAX Copier
•  Announce all CODES and implement proper procedure with each event.   
• Play public announcements at scheduled time via CD and PA system   
• Other duties as assigned                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  

Job Qualifications:                                                                                                                          High School Graduate or Equivalent.                                                                                      Good Voice Communication Skills                                                                                             Operate a Computer                                                                                                                         Good Hand Eye Coordination                                                                                                            Strong Sense of Customer Service Experience                                                                                          Good Organization Skills                                                                                                             Be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
