What You'll Need:
- Education, Training and/or Experience
- Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy or related field from an accredited college or university.
- Three (3) years prior experience providing the service required by this position, including at least three years of experience working within a school setting.
- Holds a license from the State to provide services as a Physical Therapist in the school setting.
- Knowledge of applicable federal and state statutes dealing with privacy, care and protection abuse.
- Ability to make referrals to appropriate staff members and other agencies and organizations.
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Professional demeanor
- Ability to express yourself effectively and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Experience in development and implementation procedures
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, adhering to strict timelines
- Detail oriented and highly organized
- Comfortable interacting with internal and external customers

- Ability to tactfully and effectively deal with public and staff in a personable and professional mannerÂ

Physical Demands/Travel:
Requires the ability to communicate and exchange information, collect, compile and prepare work documents, set-up and maintain work files. May also be expected to clean and maintain equipment and facilities used by students. Physical demands require the ability to stand, bend, reach high and low, stoop, walk around the classroom and kneel. May be required to travel to LEARN campuses across the state, as needed.

Working Conditions
School staff will be working in a busy and occasionally noisy environment. There may be a number of activities and situations happening at once. Majority of work will be performed in a general office/ school environment. May requires participation and attendance at organization sponsored events and meetings.
