- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, social media, and basic web content management is a plus.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable under District standards.
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in communications, public administration, political science, journalism, business, or a related field preferred. The scope of work for this role will be broad and we are open to candidates with different backgrounds, interests, and experience.
Schedule
This position will work up to a maximum of 1,000 hours or six months. We prefer a candidate who is available to work 30 or more hours a week for a six-month time period but will consider alternative schedule options. This internship will work mostly onsite with the occasional opportunity to work remotely. An ideal start date for this internship is in April.
Pay Range and Benefits
