POSITION SUMMARY

The HR Business Partner collaborates across HealthStream to develop and execute HR strategies that enhance employee experience and advance company objectives. Reporting to the VP of HR, this position serves as a strategic partner to business units, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management and organizational development initiatives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with leadership to implement HR programs including training, performance management, and recognition
  • Addressing employee relations issues and providing conflict resolution support
  • Guiding managers through employee development and performance processes
  • Managing the full- cycle employee experience from onboarding to offboarding
  • Identitying and implementing opportunities to enhance HR programs and employee engagement.
  • Ensuring compliance with employment laws and HealthStream company policies
  • Monitoring HR metrics and trends to recommend and implement program improvements.
  • Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
  • Assisting with the oversight of immigration processes and documentation
  • Supporting special projects and organizational initiatives as needed

 

Qualifications

  1. KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor's degree and/or SHRM certification (preferred/required)
  • 2+ years of progressive experience in HR/People Operations
  1. SKILLS REQUIRED (manual, verbal or mental manipulation of data or things):
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively analyze complex employee relations issues and recommend appropriate courses of action while ensuring compliance.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including employee relations, performance management, training & development, and federal and state employment laws.
  • Data-driven and aware of HR trends, technology, and strategies
  • Proficient skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office; ability to adapt to and learn new systems quickly.
  • Has an in-depth understanding of HR best practices, technologies, operations, and regulatory issues.
  • Knowledge of HRIS technology
