Position Overview

The Associate Solution Executive will be responsible for selling CredentialStream for Groups to small to mid-size healthcare organizations with a specific focus on expansion of the target market into HealthStream’s customer base and related or owned entities. The Associate Solution Executive responds to inquiries from prospects, presents and demonstrates solutions, delivers proposals and pricing, and shares advice and best practices to ensure successful implementation of CredentialStream for Groups. The Associate Solution Executive seeks to align solutions with prospects’ objectives, build relationships and credibility with key stakeholders, and meet or exceed an assigned sales quota. This individual will have responsibility for the sales process for assigned solutions, including prospecting, lead follow-up, qualifying, positioning, demonstrations, presentations, objection handling, and contract negotiations through sale closure.

 

This role is based in Nashville and requires a hybrid working arrangement. Candidates must be located in or willing to relocate to the Nashville metro area.

 

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for adhering to all HealthStream security policies, procedures, and assigned training.

 

  • Prospecting Activities within Assigned Accounts: Cold calling, internet research, email, relationship building, and other tactics

  • Identify and Qualify Opportunities: Align assigned HealthStream solutions with prospect initiatives, develop deep customer knowledge and relationships, identify funding source, secure key stakeholder sponsorship, and resolve obstacles/objections

  • Demonstrate, Propose, and Present: Demonstrate HealthStream solutions to key stakeholders when applicable, present compelling value proposition, develop comprehensive and innovative proposals, answer questions, build ROI / business case when applicable, and follow up promptly and professionally

  • Negotiate and Close Business: Create and submit agreements for signature, negotiate contract terms, secure commitment and signature, process contracts in contract management system, and effectively transition client to the implementation phase to ensure long-term customer success

  • Territory Planning and Pipeline Management: Develop and update territory plans, manage pipeline in CRM system, update plans and pipeline, support sales leadership in strategy formulation, and present plans / pipeline to sales leadership effectively and succinctly

  • Contribute to the HealthStream Sales Community: Develop and share best practices with teammates, facilitate internal discussions with key stakeholders, collaborate with other sales team members, contribute to positive work environment and morale

  • Leverage Personal and Professional Development Opportunities: Develop and maintain outstanding product knowledge, build deep expertise in healthcare trends, enhance skills and abilities such as communication, presentation, negotiations, and teamwork

  • Cross-Functionally: work with Marketing, Product Management and Operations to create value-added customer solutions aligned with HealthStream’s vision, business principles, and values

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience accepted

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to quickly develop relationships (internally and externally)

  • Team player with customer service orientation and positive attitude

  • High level of integrity and professionalism

  • Enthusiasm, initiative and ability to operate independently with limited oversight

  • Ability to be in the Nashville office minimum 2 times per week

  • Willingness to perform significant amount of cold calling and prospecting

  • Focus on exceeding expectations

  • Ability to travel up to 15%

 

 

Qualifications

  • Solid computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Exceptional presentation skills with experience presenting to audiences of all sizes

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables where limited standardization exists

  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in a variety of forms

  • Ability to present and demonstrate solutions in a way that is compelling & easy to understand

  • Ability to succeed in a team selling environment

  • Ability to support and model HealthStream’s vision and values

  • Ability to communicate well with all levels of personnel

  • Ability to see to utilize computer and monitor

  • Ability to sit at a computer

  • Manual dexterity to manipulate keyboards and phones

  • Ability to speak in a clear and moderated voice

  • Standing, walking, lifting small objects (under 20 pounds) occasionally
