- Current Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC), required.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major in the human services field (Psychology, Social Work, Human Development/Family Studies, etc.), preferred.
- Two (2) years of full-time related work experience in substance use services or social worker field, required.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish), preferred.
Additional Requirements
- Candidate must qualify as a Qualified Credentialed Counselor (QCC) under the Texas Health and Human Services guidelines.
- Knowledge and skill in operating standard office equipment (phone, fax, copier, etc.) and personal computer with Microsoft office products is required.
- Knowledge of state data system, CMBHS is preferred.
- Travel throughout the 41 county region is required.
- Candidate must have a valid Texas driver’s license and be insurable under the Agency insurance.
- Must pass pre-hire background check and drug screen.
