Who You Are:
We are looking for candidates who have:
- One year certificate from college or technical school and 6 months of related experience; or 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in maintaining buildings and grounds and/or related experience.Â
- Basic technical skills in the following areas: carpentry, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, drywall, and painting.Â
- Able to work well with other NatureBridge staff, National Park Service employees, program participants and visiting public.
- Excellent problem solving skills.Â
- A flexible, positive attitude, excellent judgment and safety consciousnessÂ
- Promptness and the ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Current driver's license and clear driving record required.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Â
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Â
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organizations.
- Ability to use a device (computer, tablet, phone etc..) to complete a time card, answer Help Desk tickets, correspond via email and or other messaging applications.
- Demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion in the workplace.
