Who You Are:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 2 years of work experience within a non-profit finance department.
- Solid understanding of GAAP for nonprofits and fund accounting. Non-profit government grants and contract experience preferred; knowledge of Federal grant accounting standards a plus.
- Proficiency in accounting and related software (Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Microsoft Word and Google Docs) and advanced computer skills, especially with spreadsheets required. Prior experience using SalesForce or other CRM systems is a plus.
- Prior experience with process optimization, project management, and change management within a finance function preferred.
- Self-motivated with the ability work independently, manage complex and confidential issues
- Able to prioritize, multi-task, and have a high attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
