Who You Are:
We are looking for applicants who:
- Experience supervising and/or coaching educators, and creating professional development for educators
- Approach themselves and others with a growth mindset
- Strong pedagogical foundations in experiential learning and thematic teaching and experience developing programs and curricula
- Demonstrate commitment to equity and inclusion in education, and creating positive community work culture. We especially encourage you to apply if you have lived experience as a member of (or extensive experience working with people from) any communities that are impacted by the historic and current system of oppression that has limited access to environmental education, or the outdoors in general
- Can communicate information quickly and accurately
- Can organize and maintain personnel records, paperwork, certifications, and timecards
- Prioritize relationship-building and professional integrity, and are able to communicate with clarity, compassion, and accuracy
- Are able to implement and model effective risk management practices
- Value NatureBridge’s mission and the development of environmental literacy through environmental science and nature education
- Have either a Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid Wilderness First Responder and CPR or ability to obtain prior to starting the position
- Have a valid Driver’s License
