Position Title: Federal Work Study students
Department: Education
Reports to: Aspo Normantas
Status: 20 hours per week
Salary: $19/hr.
General Description: Assists School of Education staff and faculty with various office tasks.
Specific Responsibilities:
- General Office
- Assists with preparation for events
- Deliveries on Campus
- Office organization
- Prepare packets (meetings, events, training, and classes)
- File/copy/scan accounting transactions and student documents
- Processing electronic admissions files located on the server (G drive/OneDrive)
- Transferring physical student advising files to electronic files.
- Computer
- Canvas – or other LMS systems
- Microsoft 365 Apps
- Jenzabar – data entry
- Excel spreadsheets – data entry
- Word processing – creating documents
- Browse websites to research assignments for the newsletter
- Browse education websites to complete CTC-required matrices
- Mailings
- Prepare large mailings by labeling and stuffing envelops
- Compile necessary information to prepare email correspondence
- Compile contact information from School district websites
- Promote Education Credential Programs on social media
- Help with recruitment and growing enrollment
- Communications
- Communicate to students, faculty, and staff announcements and information via email or phone.
- Communicate to students, faculty, and staff via ConstantContact.
- Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office & 365 products
- Good Communication Skills, Organization Skills, Written Skills
- Maintain Ethical and Confidential standards, High Integrity and Maturity
- Administrative experience and maintaining confidential student records
- Social media – creating professional posts with targeted campaigns
- Computer experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint, ConstantContact
- Detail-oriented, organized, capable of multi-tasking, collaborative, flexible, and independent worker with a student-centered attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Professionalism and strong interpersonal skills are essential.
