Position: Director of University Partnerships 
Reports to: Dean of Enrollment Management 
Status: Full-time, Exempt 
Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 (annual)  
Location: Hybrid at Belmont, CA, US 

 

POSITION SUMMARY: 
Under the direction of the Dean of Enrollment Management, the Director of University Partnerships is responsible for driving the growth of the organization by identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, partners, and other stakeholders, and developing strategies to increase revenue via enrollments and market share within NDNU’s Schools of Business Administration, Education and Psychology. The Director of University Partnerships will play a crucial role in identifying, developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with college districts, practicum partners, organizations and corporations, aligning with NDNU’s strategic goals and values to drive enrollment growth among its graduate and degree completion programs. 
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
• Market Research and Analysis: Conduct research and stay informed of trends to identify new markets and customer needs and analyze market trends.  
• Business Strategy Development: Develop and implement growth strategies, including sales tactics, marketing strategies, and product development plans.  
• Client Acquisition and Management: Identify potential clients, establish relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers at partner organization, and maintain strong relationships with existing clients. 
• Partnership Development: Seek and develop strategic partnerships and alliances with other businesses, community colleges and organizations. 
• Proposal and Deal making: Prepare and present business proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals. 
• Performance Analysis: Monitor performance and analyze the success of business strategies, adjusting plans as necessary to achieve targets. 
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with admissions and recruitment, marketing, program leadership and other departments to ensure aligned objectives and execution of strategies. 
• Collaborate to tailor presentations and proposals that address the specific needs and challenges of potential partners. 
• Financial Planning: Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting in relation to business development activities. 
• Reporting: Monitor and analyze partnership performance, providing regular reports to leadership and recommending strategies for improvement. Provide regular reports on progress and performance against KPIs and goals to senior management.
