QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience:
- A minimum of 500 hours of massage training from an accredited/approved massage school required; Washington State Massage Practitioner license or Idaho Certification required.
- One to three years previous experience in a spa, private practice, doctors office, and/or chiropractors office preferred.
- Must have current CPR and first aid certifications or obtain within 6 months of hire.
- Certifications in a variety of massage modalities preferred.
Skills/Knowledge:
- Must be able to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent verbal communication skills required.
- Must have an excellent attendance history free of no call/no show policy violations.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Must work well in a team environment.
- Must have a strong understanding/knowledge base of the spa industry, services, and products with an emphasis of all massage and body treatments offered at the spa.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. This position will require the individual to work a variety of shifts, often within the same work week, and may require overtime as necessary to fulfill priority tasks.
