Essential Job Functions:
• Manages human and material resources to meet production goals.
o Sets up production lines o Responsible for productivity expectations.
o Prepares and maintains production reports.
o Monitors headcounts for optimal production output.
• Manages the safety and cleanliness of the production area.
o Delegates cleaning responsibilities to hourly temporary workers.
o Ensure all workers within the area of responsibility wear PPE.
o Coaches unsafe behaviors of production workers.
• Responsible for the quality of manufactured products.
o Monitors production lines to ensure products are produced to customer specifications.
o Coaches production workers on food safe production and adherence to GMP’s.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Basic understanding of warehouse terminology and tools.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse operations: production, shipping, receiving, inventory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to be trained on powered equipment
Experience:
• 3+ years supervisory experience. • 1-3 years’ experience with inventory ERP systems preferred.
Education and Certifications:
• High School or GED.
Physical Requirements:
• Be on your feet for 10-12 hours
• Able to lift 40 pounds unassisted.
• Able to reach, bend, kneel and climb while performing repetitive tasks
• Ability to work in hot and cold environments
• Able to correctly wear PPE for entire shifts
• Able to react and respond quickly to noises, smells, visual hazards, and alerts.
