Design Engineer

Price Industries Inc. is on the search for a Design Engineer for our growing US office and manufacturing facility located in Suwanee, GA. This design engineer will focus on special design tasks and help ensure the team meets key product development timelines.

REQUIREMENTS

• Conduct the design, test and release of chilled beam products
• Establish, manage and communicate project deliverables
• Understand and comply with safety standard requirements
• Initiate and lead design FMEAs, design reviews, and preproduction builds with multi-discipline development team 
• Manage the creation of internal and external design documentation including bill of materials and submittals
• Support the collection and evaluation of product costs
• Support the production of new and existing chilled beam products
• Evaluate test data and implement appropriate actions
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• B.S in Engineering (emphasis in Mechanical or equivalent)
• Proficient in 3D CAD modeling (ex. SolidWorks, Solid Edge, etc.) and MS Office applications
• Previous experience in product design, preferred sheet metal design experience. HVAC industry a plus. 
• Understanding of design for manufacturing concepts.  
• Strong computer-based skills and proficiency with 3D CAD and MS Office applications
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organization and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively with peers to resolve issues and implement change
