Description

Water's Edge Resort and Spa is currently accepting applications for experienced line cooks in our busy kitchen. Want to work in a fun, fast paced environment? Come join our team!

Responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations
• Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, and appetizers
• Plating prepared foods based on chef’s guidance
• Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time
• Cleaning work area kitchen and storing the equipment at the end of shifts
• Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations

Qualifications

 

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be available to work weekends, evenings & holidays
  • Previous kitchen experience required
  • Punctual
  • Energetic, motivated personality
  • Must have stamina, must be able to stand for hours at a time
  • Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • ServSafe Certification preferred
